Introduction:

Established in 2030 B.S. under the visionary leadership of the late Pushpalal Rajbhandari, the Nepal Chemists and Druggists Association, later renamed "Nepal Ausadhi Byawasayee Sangh" in Nepali, stands as a cornerstone in the pharmaceutical landscape of the nation. As a premier national-level professional association, its founding principles revolve around clarifying the intricacies of the pharmaceutical profession and championing the rights and welfare of professionals within the industry on a national scale.

With a steadfast commitment to its objectives, the association operates across 7 states and boasts 55 branches, serving as a vital resource and advocate for its members. Among these branches, the Rupandehi District Branch emerges as a beacon of excellence within the Lumbini province and garners recognition at the national level due to its outstanding performance.

In line with the federal restructuring of the nation, the Rupandehi District Branch was established on the auspicious day of 2076 Bhadra 28 B.S. Since its inception, it has consistently upheld the values and mission of the association, contributing significantly to the advancement of pharmaceutical practice and welfare initiatives on a local and national scale.

  • Establish Professional Principles: Uphold suitable and dignified principles within the drug profession.

  • Foster Government Relations: Establish peaceful relations between the association and the Nepal Government regarding drug-related matters.

Membership:

Any individual, firm, company, or organization possessing a valid license issued by the Government of Nepal and duly registered with the Department of Drug Administration is eligible for membership. Prospective members must pay the prescribed membership fee stipulated by the association's legislation and submit their application along with copies of the firm registration certificate, Nepalese citizenship, and Permanent Account Number.
